About Us
PUNJABI UNLIMITED is North Carolinas first Socio-cultural organization committed to promotion of Punjabi art, culture, music and language and to help educate the greater American population about the wonderful world of Punjabis.
Punjabi Unlimited is "Unlimited" in the true sense of the word. We do not limit membership to just people of Punjabi origin. This is meant to be a place holder organization for those who have the "Punjabi" spirit of living life to it's fullest potential !!
We envision having regular get together with a group of friends playing Tambola (Bingo), singing desi songs on Karaoke Machines, playing charades with desi movie names and songs, playing antakshari etc. In short re-living all the fun that had in India along with the benefits of living in US.
Punjabi Unlimited aims to bring Punjab to life in the US starting with NC. We hope that you can all join in and celebrate life with us.
We plan to have multiple events throughout the year including our flagship event of Baisakhi Mela 2013 which will be held on April 28th this year.
Some of our past events have included:
- Baisakhi Mela 2011 and 2012 with Kailash Kher as the headliner
- Punjabi Unlimited hosted world renowned Qawal Amjad Ali Sabri in 2013
- New Years eve party hosted in 2012
- Annual Picnics
- Golf outings
- Paintball events
